Please print out, fill it out, and bring it by at one of the meetings listed on the Drills and Meetings page.
Please come by a few minutes earlier than the listed start time of the meeting so we can meet you
and go over your application and necessary training.
The Rescue Squad bears all costs for necessary training up to the EMT-I level.

Training Prerequisites. These are necessary to meet various state and national requirements. The first two are before you are placed on the active list.
Bloodborne Pathogens. Roughly 1 hour. Annual viewing and short test required..
HIPAA. Roughly 45 minutes. Annual viewing and short test required.
CPR. Varies based on your previous training. Required once every two years.
First Aid. Varies based on your previous training. Required once every two years unless superceded by higher training like First Responder or EMT.
ICS 100 ICS 200, IS 700, IS 800. These are online courses available through FEMA. They meet national requirements.
CEVO. Coaching Emergency Vehicle Operations. Required before driving emergency vehicles.
Vehicle Extrication. Taught here when available.
If interested - First Responder. Taught here when available.
If interested - Emergency Medical Technician. Taught at Florence Darlington Technical College or Pee Dee Regional EMS. Paid for by the Rescue Squad.
